Making the decision to look for a care setting for a loved one, or for yourself is a difficult and stressful one at the best of times. Even though standards of care have improved since the advent of the Care Standards Act, there is always the worry about the level of service provided by your chosen care provider.

Social Care Consultants Ltd utilise it's extensive knowledge and experience to offer advice and support on choosing a care setting. This service includes the following:

  • Identification of potential care settings in your preferred locality and submission of a report comparing faculties, vacancies and fee levels.
  • A review of previous Care Standards Inspection Reports to identify areas of both good and poor practice to enable you to ask informed questions when selecting potential care settings.
  • Accompanied viewings of potential care settings, enabling you to get the "insiders viewpoint" on the setting, standards and practice. We know the questions to ask and the appropriate answer.
